As we roll into a new year, let’s take a moment to celebrate our craft of marketing with what I would consider to be the Biggest Marketing Moments of 2022 … the top ten.

10. Christopher Meloni for Peloton … let’s just say he drew some raw attention for the brand.

9. “The Wish” … German grocer won big at Cannes with this dose of (pandemic) reality.

8. LEGO MRI Scanner Kits … the brand made special kits so that kids who were facing a MRI procedure could understand how it all works.

7. Minnie Mouse in a Pantsuit … Disney France changed up the dynamic.

6. Doggy Parton … Dolly Parton launches a new line of dog accessories that sells out instantly, of course.

5. Fender Makes a Comeback …guitar playing soars during the pandemic and this classic brand is right there for the action.

4. Pottery Barn’s Accessible Home … the brand launches a new line of home furnishings for those who are physically challenged, including furniture to work from home.

3. Gatorade Celebrates Serena … a celebration of all that is her greatness.

2. Kenvue … my alma mater at Johnson & Johnson changes its name.

And #1. Patagonia Sells the Company … a move only this brand could make.
