Folgers "Allow Us to Reintroduce Ourselves"

Brand Folgers has perhaps one of the most famous and most memorable taglines of all time: “The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup.” And the brand has been consistently using the tagline for decades. Here’s a spot from 1990, over 30 years ago!

This week, the brand took a major departure. MAJOR. It walked away from its famous tagline and instead leaned heavy into its New Orleans roots. And also perhaps gave a nod to its reputation as being a mass coffee brand in a sea of some might consider better quality and more craft brands. Give a look at “Allow Us to Reintroduce Ourselves.”

It’s a entirely new take on the brand, perhaps for an entirely new generation of coffee drinkers who maybe never knew the brand or knew it in a different way.
