GOT's Response to Starbucks Snafu

It was as if the entire world gasped out loud…

Game of Thrones. You can fact check me here, but on what I believe is now the most watched tv show in history, there was a major prop snafu where a Starbucks cup was left in a scene. On film. Whoops. The show confirmed that it was indeed a mistake, despite the conspiracy theorists saying that it was purposeful product placement.

To the show's credit, they admitted it right away and then tweeted out the best response ever:

“News from Winterfell. The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. #Daenerys had ordered an herbal tea.”

All that and a sense of humor too. Sign of a good brand. What’s your experience? JIM
