Today is Monday, September 29th, and it’s officially National Coffee Day in the U.S. Who knew!?! Drink up!

Truth be told, we need a day to salute coffee … not only is it a big part of our economy, it’s a big part of our daily lives. The National Coffee Association, which is the industry’s largest trade group, reports that coffee consumption is up as is coffee consumption away from home. It starts our day, gives us a boost of confidence, provides solace, unites us with friends, and fuels our energy for all we need to accomplish.

That’s a lot in a cup!

Virtually every major coffee brand and purveyor is featuring a National Coffee Day promotion today, far too many to list out here so I’ll simply add a link to a roundup article from USA Today. You’ll see promotions on apps, instore featured items, celebrity sightings, collabs with donuts, and lots of freebees. Plus a whole lot more.

Gotta love the salute to the bev we love the most, with the most usage occasions!

Since it’s #MusicMonday and in salute to coffee, here’s my favorite song with coffee in its lyrics ….

“Clouds in my coffee” refers to the confusing and unclear aspects of love, in case you didn’t know. Sometimes a cup of coffee and a little alone time can clear things up, that is for sure … it’s my go-to for sure.

Coffee is such a huge part of our culture, of course we need a day to celebrate it, as I write this drinking a cup of coffee!
