New Dior Logo Goes Back to Its Origins

With the launch of its Spring 2026 menswear line, Dior also launched its new logo which abandons the all caps look and goes back to an initial cap design (see above and in the video below).

I have a feeling this won’t spark the fury that many logo redesigns flash.

And yes, I like it!

The “new” logo essentially brings the brand back to its origins of Christian Dior and his signature logo from 1946, signaling the brand’s renewed focus on its heritage and “timeless elegance.”

For all of us design and brand geeks, the logo uses the font “Chocin” which is the original font chosen by Christian Dior back in the day, which I just love. And I love the subtle refinement back to the original logo, rather than a radical overhaul … reflective of the brand’s originator himself.

Very Christian Dior: Timeless, Luxury, Heritage, Fashion, Confidence.

Feels more natural, doesn’t it? The brand went to all caps in 2018, and looking back, all those caps don’t feel like the brand. Am I right?!?

I’m digging the original and it just feels right to go back.

Well played. Subtle and uniquely ownable. We love you Christian!
