Balenciaga’s New Peking Duck Clutch for Fall 2025

Source: Jing Daily

Balenciaga has long been known for capturing attention with standout items in its collections. Remember the Ikea-inspired bag at designer prices?!?

Well the brand did it again last week for its Fall 2025 collection in China with a Peking Duck clutch (pictured above) which is also selling at roughly the equivalent of $2100USD. Instant headlines and an instant sell-out.

How could it not, this is Balenciaga after all!

There was a bit more controversy however with another item in the collection, a women’s mini-skirt that many said looked like men’s boxer briefs.

This particular item caused such a stir that the brand took the item offline, causing an even greater stir.

How could it not, this is Balenciaga after all!

Perhaps that’s the point. Fashion, especially high-end fashion, is meant to push boundaries and brand Balenciaga has always done that. It’s the brand. So I for one am excited to see what the brand does every year and I am excited to see what it does market by market for the market, in this case China.

It keeps us wanting more, wanting to see what’s next from the brand. I find that very inspiring.
