Manscaped “The Boys” Video … Will It Make a Super Bowl Debut?!?

Source: YouTube

This is a pretty easy prediction to make: The Super Bowl is going to get even more attention this year than ever.

We’ve got the Taylor Swift effect, and that’s before we even know what teams are playing. We’ve got Bad Bunny headlining the half time show and that’s before we even know what he’s bringing to the game. We’ve got the advertising inventory already sold out and that’s at $7-$8million a pop for thirty seconds. Sold out.

Plus there’s already a lot of speculation about what brands are in this year, what brands are out, and who the new comers will be.

Like Manscaped, for example. There’s speculation that the brand will make its Super Bowl debut since it’s just recently “ordered” a creative review. Hmmm. Makes sense. Large male audience, and honestly a large female audience that may influence their male counterparts. Just sayin’.

Plus the Super Bowl loves a little humor. We could use a little humor these days. Humor works in advertising. Just look at the big winners at the Cannes Lions Awards this year and humor was a big trend once again as culturally we need a little lift and we often look to brands and their marketing to lift us.

Brands, don’t go too serious on us, lift us up please!

If you look at recent history of Manscaped, it doesn’t appear as if it’ll disappoint on the humor “front” …

If you go back a little further, humor appears to be the brand’s legacy …

Bring it to the game this end of season, please! We need you! We’ll be watching!
