Another week, another logo redesign … this time from Pizza Hut in the U.K. and Canada as well as a few other markets. It’s a pretty dramatic push away from the previous logo which was also used in the U.S. up until 2019 …

… and perhaps meant to more align with the brand’s current logo in the U.S. which was introduced in 2019 …

The U.S. redid their logo in 2019 to be a throw-back to the logo of the 1990’s in order to bring back the brand’s nostalgic appeal, which is perhaps what the U.K. and Canada markets are attempting to do with their new look now as well.
It is interesting to note that there is not one common international logo, which is likely a result of the brand’s business structure as opposed to a marketing strategy.
Either way, I find the logo quite clean and bright and full of energy. The route to all red is quite distinctive too, as opposed to the mix of red and black.
The brand has seen quite a few logo designs in its time, and by the looks of it then this one does stack up quite nicely.

I applaud the look. It’s important for a brand to keep its energy alive and I believe that is what Pizza Hut is doing here. It will be interesting to see if we see a U.S. roll-out of the look.
