JobKorea - Respect
Source: JobKorea
Once again I started teaching the summer semester of my NYU graduate marketing class. I find such inspiration interacting with the next generation of talent … I learn more from them then they learn from me! It’s an international population so their perspectives are far and wide, so we truly explore a lot!
Every week, each student submits something that they’ve seen in the marketplace that is noteworthy and presents it to the class. I call it “the week in marketing” and I do it because I truly believe that “marketing is a spectator sport” and we can learn a lot by watching and observing brands.
Search, observe, learn, and reapply!
This week, a student submitted this video from Korea from JobKorea which is an online recruiting company in Seoul. The video is all about supporting people in their careers, as they are starting out as “kids” and as they are progressing through their pathways … all the while respecting all types of work. Respect. Love it.
I found it to be creative, inspiring, and perhaps applicable to other brands who are also thinking about how they can support their customers.
It’s a tough job market, everywhere around the world. I love that the brand uses “Respect” as a foundation for its messaging and how it supports its customers … and for how it “checks in” on its “kids” throughout the day. Such a great concept for a recruiting firm.
