"Dads" Documentary

Although this documentary came out pre-pandemic, it took me a couple of years into the pandemic to get it on my radar which is odd for me given the subject. “Dads” is a documentary by Bryce Dallas Howard, daughter of the famous Hollywood director (and actor) Ron Howard, about being a dad. It profiles many celebrity dads as well as non-famous ones too, showing the role they play in their families lives. In short, it’s a celebration of great parenting and the impact it has. And how hard and yet rewarding it can be. So well done. If you didn’t see it during the pandemic, I’d highly recommend it now. Particularly if you have a dad, are a dad, want to be a dad, have a dad in your life, and/or are a father figure of any kind. Thank you for all you do on those fronts.

“You’re only as happy as your family, so you’re always vulnerable.”

“Trust your instincts, you know how to do this.”

Way to go, dad. What’s your experience? JIM
