Lit Up in Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Buckingham Palace in London

Monuments, important buildings, and historic sites all around the world started the month of October all lit up in pink to honor Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Eiffel Tower in Paris

I’ve seen buildings do this before, especially The Empire State Building in New York.

But I personally have never seen the entire world unite in support of Breast Cancer Research and to find a cure. Buildings all around the world! India showed its support.

Brazil too!

At a time when we are fighting so much and there’s so much hate and polarization, it’s nice to see the world come together to fight something that causes suffering for us all. Because together we will find a cure for Breast Cancer and other forms as well. The color pink has come to mean the hope that comes from banding together to fight this deadly disease and to support women overall.

I am so inspired. What’s your experience? JIM
