Elvie on International Women's Day

If you’ve not heard of the company, Elvie has created a line of smart tech devices to help women through the changes that their bodies go through. Like a smart tech breast pump, for example, for moms as pictured above. As the brand describes itself, Elvie helps women embrace being women, embrace their bodies, and embrace what their bodies can do.

To honor International Women’s Day this week, the brand launched a new “music video” (as part of an overarching campaign) to celebrate mothers and how their bodies take care of their children. The song was co-written by Eva Lazarus who is also a mother. It’s quite inspiring … called “Smart Bodies.”

What’s inspiring is not just the messaging, but the representation and the vibe. Yes, women can talk about their bodies and embrace the changes that they are going through as they have children, as they age, as they face health concerns. Also inspiring is the fact that this isn’t the first of such campaigns for the brand. This has been their consistent tone and messaging since founding.

Love the tagline for Elvie: “Smart tech for smart bodies.”

Exactly the message we should send on International Women’s Day and every day. As a brand if you can find a way to lift up and represent your consumers, then I’d say you are doing good work. Elvie is doing good work!
