Victoria's Secret Love Cloud Collection

On Valentine’s Day, Victoria’s Secret continued its movement towards inclusivity by launching the Love Cloud Collection featuring “eighteen dynamic women from a myriad of backgrounds.” The Collection features new products meant for comfort and also features the range of models as referenced by the brand including professional models along side production coordinators, designers, and even a firefighter. The women (and the sizes/shapes of the products) represent a line of inclusion that we know the brand has been striving for of late.

Well done.

And now we can add someone new to the lineup with the inclusion of Sofia Jirau from Puerto Rico who is the brand’s first model with Down syndrome.

This is exactly what this brand needs to be doing to not only reflect our collective culture but also to inspire it. Imagine being able to look at any of these women and being able to see yourself and your own beauty and your own belonging. Your own self of accepted self. Imagine. We’ve never seen this level of inclusion before and I applaud it. And look for more of it. Inclusion comes in many forms, thank you for every aspect of it.
