Cottonelle Steps In

It’s hard to remember back that far … say just a matter of weeks ago when the WHO declared the coronavirus a pandemic. Up until then, we really weren’t sure what to process. Is it really going to get that bad? Is it really going to affect us this badly?

And I’m sure we all remember how one of the first things that people did was to buy toilet paper. Most of us weren’t sure why. The media asked the same question which likely hyped it up even more. Store shelves were emptied of all supplies almost immediately.

I’ve lived through quite a few situations where people stocked up on essential supplies. In fact I myself just bought two earthquake kits for my home in California. I get it. If we are stuck at home we need some of the essentials. Some. But the toilet paper thing caught many of us by surprise.

Well now Cottonelle, a leading toilet paper brand, is stepping in with some calm and reason to both acknowledge that whole situation (which in many places is still ongoing) and give us a way to turn it around. Plus, the brand then turned it into an opportunity to give back. Take a look at #ShareASquare:

Simple. Calm. Reasonable. If you have some extra toilet paper, then give it to someone who could use some. Share your giving with the brand and it’ll give to United Way. Oh, and by the way, there will be plenty more supply coming so don’t worry about it. Thank you for that assurance.

Simple. Calm. Reasonable. Giving. Something many brands are trying to do right now.
