To celebrate Netflix’s highly anticipated movie “The Irishman,” the brand took over parts of Little Italy in New York this past weekend and brought it back to 1975, the era of the movie. There’s been quite a bit of buzz about how the actors have been digitally “de-aged” in the movie, so I guess it makes sense to do the same with this famous neighborhood made even more famous (if that’s possible) by the movie.

So imagine store fronts, phone booths, cars and everything else brought back to the mid-70’s!! To join in the fun and to drive foot traffic during the “pre-holiday” weekend, local merchants were giving away free goods like Chianti, cannolis, cheeses, etc. How fun!

Lots of great opportunities for a little IG action, that’s for sure.

What’s your experience? JIM
