Coca-Cola Has an AHA Moment

The sparkling water category is hot hot hot…with brands like La Croix and Bubly getting lots of attention and stealing share of the beverage category. And sparking growth.

Coca-Cola recently announced that it wants in on the game too, starting in March 2020, with the launch of a brand new brand called AHA.

AHA is a full line of sparkling beverages each with a unique flavor combination and a splash of caffeine. Yes, a bit of caffeine but no calories. In flavors like Lime Watermelon and Cucumber Strawberry.

The is Coca-Cola’s biggest bet since the 2006 launch of Gold Peak Tea. Will it work? The day of the announcement, La Croix’s stock price dropped 7%. And the brand will have 100% distribution in its network of retailers in the first month. Not a bad start at all!
