Where To Start

One fundamental question comes up all the time in the halls of marketing big and small:  where do I start?  If you've never done marketing before or it's become "old hat" (now that just aged me), it can be a daunting process for sure.

And while I believe that marketing begins and ends with the customer, you still have to start somewhere when you are starting a brand from scratch or trying to refresh the one you have.

Over at Entrepreneur, I've been writing a series of articles examining how to build a brand experience.  Today's column talks about where to begin.  It all starts with defining your brand and figuring out what you want your brand to be.  You can read it here.

What's your experience?  Jim.
