Zara Presents Benito Antonio (with Some Further Foreshadowing) #MusicMonday

Well, that didn't take very long, did it?!? This man is a storyteller, that is for sure.
Following Bad Bunny's tremendously successful Halftime Show at this year's Super Bowl, where he was dressed head to toe in Zara, the world's most streamed male artist* just released a new clothing line in collaboration with, you guessed it … Zara!
He didn't just release it. He designed it.

If the shirt fits … design it, wear it, broadcast it, and then sell it.
The line is called "Benito Antonio," after his given name. Cotton pieces, tailored suits, minimalist garments all in bright summer colors reflecting Puerto Rico and his heritage. The collection stays true to Benito's brand.
And by the way Zara is Spanish, too. But of course.
We've seen countless fashion collabs come and go, many by celebrities, many by artists. Could have been a yawn. But this one has momentum from the start, from the opening moments of his Halftime Show when everyone wondered what he was wearing.
What's giving this collab even more life, though, is the foreshadowing Benito laid out in the photo shoot. Attentive fans noticed the Adidas footwear. Let’s face it, they notice everything and he lives for it. So do they.
Turns out his next collab is dropping too. He's launching an Adidas Ballerina sneaker in Vivid Red which is the shoe he wore in the Zara shoot and during his residency concerts in Puerto Rico. The new collab color honors the island's Flamboyán bloom (a very colorful flowering tree). More to come on that in another post, tied to The World Cup.

The story just continues to unfold and the must-have products just keep multiplying. It’s Bad Bunny, after all!
Benito isn't just an artist anymore. He's an artistic cultural icon across genres where he’s stacking moments and building an empire.
Super impressive, right from the Super Bowl to what looks like will be The World Cup.
End to end storytelling, with lots of fashion in between.
What’s your experience? JIM
P.S. - Since it’s #MusicMonday, here’s my fav from Bad Bunny, because of the beat and the theme.
*Note that Bad Bunny is the most streamed male artist of all time, while Taylor Swift is the most streamed artist of all time.
