Xbox Urges Us to “Wake Up”

Xbox and its partner Samsung recently released a new film that positions gaming in an entirely new light, quite brilliantly to my eye. The film was done by two famous directors, American director David Fincher and French director Romain Chassaing who created a fantastical piece of narrative about the “rat race” and how to escape it through gaming.

Take a look:

“Wake up the human inside.” Love it.

Wonderfully deep insight here that many feel like we drone through the day, not feeling alive inside as we merely survive to get through it. Yet, at the end of the day, we come alive when we are able to connect with the human race via our gaming device and the network we’ve created while we game.

The juxtaposition of human and rat and race is, well like I said, brilliant. I really enjoyed the narrative, the creativity, the film making, and the bringing to life of the insight.
