John Lewis 2025 Holiday Advert “Where Love Lives” #MusicMonday
If you’re not familiar, John Lewis is a retailer in the U.K. and has a rich legacy in creating holiday adverts with beautiful production and deep storytelling. Some might say it’s an OG in the space, and I would agree.
This year the brand brings it full stop with “Where Love Lives,” where the brand brings an emotional story of the generations united by music, solving how to express themselves to those they love.
The storytelling is so intense here, as the dad and his son have lost their avenues of communication. But it’s through music that they find a way to connect over the holidays.
“Where Love Lives.”
John Lewis commissioned the music here featuring the 1990’s hit “Where Love Lives” by Alison Limerick. The vinyl is available at the retailer with side A housing the original and then side B housing a reimagined take by producer Labrinth. Both versions are featured in the film. The brand’s profits from the record sales will be donated to the Building Happier Futures Fund which is part of the John Lewis Partnership Foundation. So we can feel extra good about it all.
Every year we can count on John Lewis to give us a festive glow with their holiday advert, and this year is no exception on so many levels.
Thank you and happy holidays.
