Here’s a case where fiction becomes reality, Canadian-Hollywood style.

Actor François Arnaud from the hit HBO television series “Heated Rivalry” just became the brand ambassador for fitness apparel brand Under Armour. Reality.

This after having worn the brand famously in the television show itself. Fiction. One could argue that the brand was a main character in a couple of scenese. See what I mean …

So now the actor is turning that scene grabbing moment into a gig with the brand, including a captivating new video.

I just love this quote from François:

“If you’d told the skinny awkward kid I used to be that one day I’d be an ambassador for a sportswear brand, I would’ve laughed.”

I also love how the brand has supported the LGBTQ+ community through the years, and this is a not-so-subtle nod here as well. Thanks for that.

Right now the partnership seems to be mostly product promotion, so I can’t wait to see where this goes. Hopefully to great places especially as we await the release of “Heated Rivalry” Season 2.
