Beyonce x Levi’s Round II - “Pool Hall” #MusicMonday
Source: Levi’s
Leave it to Beyonce to outdo even herself. She recently reimagined the iconic “Laundrette” ad for Levi’s as part of her “Cowboy Carter” era, to great success.
Well she’s come back for a Round II, with the reinvention of another classic Levi’s ad “Pool Hall,” sporting more of her Cowboy looks ala Levi’s jeans and her music. Take a look/listen …
The original Levi’s spot was done in 1991, and featured The Clash “Should I Stay or Should I Go” …
… and then redone a few years later featuring model Amanda De Cadenet …
Beyonce orchestrates her brand beautifully, and now right along side her global concert tour this summer. Reinvention after reinvention to stay current and relevant and creative. What a brand! And in this case, same for Levi’s!
From what I understand, sales have responded quite nicely. Thank you Beyonce. Hence Round II I would imagine.
What’s your experience? JIM
P.S.: ICYMI, here’s the “Launderette” spot from Beyonce as well …
