American Eagle x Tru Kolors by Travis Kelce

Source: American Eagle

While we may have been patiently waiting (or not so patiently) for the engagement announcement of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, we definitely did not anticipate that the following day we would hear about the collaboration between American Eagle and Travis Kelce’s fashion brand Tru Kolors.

Yes, American Eagle.

Where did that come from?!? How could we not have known about this? Did we even know Travis had a fashion brand?

If you were on TikTok this week, you certainly could not have missed it. But of course.

Turns out that for over a year now Travis Kelsey has been playing creative director for a new line of clothing sold exclusively at American Eagle under his fashion label Tru Kolors.

Click here to check out the line full line, and it’s pretty exhaustive. The line is designed for both men and women and meant for those who “live to play” … and available all around the world.

To launch the campaign, Travis pulled in some of his friends, all featured on the website for their individual sport …

“Admired for inspiring others through their ability to dream and live life to play, Kelce tapped friends and fellow athletes, including rising tennis star Anna Frey, elite basketball guard Azzi Fudd, quarterback Drew Allar, the nation’s No. 1 wide receiver recruit Jeremiah Smith, top basketball prospect Kiyan Anthony, and gold medalist and world-class gymnast Suni Lee, to star in the campaign. They each bring their true selves to everything they do and embody the “live to play” mindset.”

Note the “live to play” theme, as well as how they each bring “their true selves.”

Just don’t ask them about their jeans :)

Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Nice to see Travis expanding his brand. He’s done a little acting and now he’s launching a fashion line, which is honestly true (ha!) to his own look and leveraging his relationships in the field of sports. Spot on.

I’m sure his new fiancé is quite proud.

What’s your experience? JIM
