Victoria Secret's First Transgender Model

You know the saying…”When one door closes, another one opens.” I truly believe that, in all aspects of life. Even in marketing.

Victoria Secret (as in the women’s lingerie brand) just announced that it’s cancelling its long-running runway show because of continually slowing ratings. Honestly, I’m not necessarily surprised. The concept is a bit played at this point and in need of a re-invention.

“When one door closes, another one opens.”

Victoria Secret also just announced its first transgender model. Her name is Vanentina Sampaio.

I just love this open door!
