Fooducate

Now here's an app whose time has come.

Fooducate.

It rates virtually every food you could possibly eat - from an "A" to an "D" with pluses and minuses in between - to help guide food choices.  As you log in your food options, you simply only choose A's and B's and you'll be nutritionally sound.  Of course it's still up to you to balance the food groups, but logging your intake even helps with that!

And if you are on Weight Watchers, it even gives you the point values, making it easy to count up your day.  Pretty convenient.

Foods are listed in the database and are searchable. Plus you can snap any UPC and it'll tell you straight up.

I just lost 19 pounds on WW and this was a big part of my success!  Although really this has nothing to do with losing weight, per se.  It's all about making good decisions, which is necessary for anyone at any weight or fitness level.  Fooducate makes it easy, and just might be a brand on the rise.  It will also be interesting to see if we start to see brand partnerships and offers attached to the ratings.  Hmm, would that decrease the authenticity or add more value ... a fine line indeed.
