The Ocado Christmas Choir with Sophie Ellis-Bextor #MusicMonday

If you are not familiar with the brand, Ocado is an online grocery delivery service in the U.K. … think of it as the U.S. equivalent of Instacart or Amazon Fresh.

To celebrate the holiday and drive awareness of the company, the brand assembled an internal choir to sing some Christmas carols and to specifically reimagine “Jingle Bells” by weaving in some classic holiday foods … such as pigs in blankets, mince pies with cheese, and snowman bao buns. Yum.

Note that this internal choir is partnered with a local group called Soul Choir … beautiful voices!

What the choir didn’t know is that there was a surprise guest planned to sing along as well! None other than U.K. pop superstar Sophie Ellis-Bextor!

To drive a little news media as well, the group will be performing this reimagined song they’ve retitled as “Seasons Eatings” at an outdoor event on December 12th at George Street in the Richmond Borough of London. Lots of fun group participation, I am sure!

I’m a huge fan of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, best known for her huge hit “Murder on the Dancefloor” from 2001. It’s gotten a huge bump again when it was featured in the huge movie “Saltburn” in 2023. Love it!

How fun and festive!

Thanks Ocado for it all.
