Gap Holiday Choir with Sienna Spiro #MusicMonday
Source: Gap
To kick off their holiday season, Gap released a video with their holiday choir singing “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus. But this is no ordinary choir, rather one led by U.K. singing sensation Sienna Spiro featuring 64 people ranging in ages from 8 to 72. And although “The Climb” is not a traditional holiday song by any means, this take of it this year and in this manner certainly feels festive. I’ll take it.
Gives me the chills.
If you’re not familiar with Sienna’s music, here’s one of her singles from February of this year called “Origami.”
I like her sound. Truthfully, I had never heard of her, my bad. So this collab with Gap may just be putting her on the map, or maybe the other way around … perhaps this collab is giving Gap a big boost! Maybe both! That’s the (holiday) spirit of collaborations.
Just for fun, here’s the original “The Climb” from Miley Cyrus which went to number one on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart and number four on the Hot 100 in 2009.
I love the holidays … the music, the advertising, the festive feeling. And all of the festivities!
