Collabs with “Bridgerton” Season 4

Source: Pandora

The sign of a successful television season is the range of brand collaborations that it is able to create, in order to engage fans even further and extending the franchise beyond the screen. Based on Bridgerton Season 4's partnerships, I'd say it's been a pretty successful season.

The full set of episodes recently dropped, so we're in full social media frenzy and we can't get enough of the ancillary products.

Here are three brand collaborations that really stand out for me, because they were able to capture the essence of the show and showcase their brand prowess at the same time.

Pandora

Perhaps the most beautiful collaboration I've uncovered. A stunning jewelry collection inspired by the show's time period, featuring a marketing campaign with the actresses. Enchanting. What impressed me most is that Pandora used “friendship rules” to showcase the pieces with the actresses, connecting the jewelry to the emotional core of the series. Makes you want to go shop with a friend, giving a reason to engage.

Dove

"Let them talk." The most spirited partnership that I could find. Dove captured the brand’s "real beauty" essence and paired it with Bridgerton's storytelling to challenge beauty standards of the era. This is what collaboration looks like: two equities merging to make a powerful statement, one that matched and challenged the era of the “ton.” And beautiful packaging, btw, giving a lift to any bathroom.

Walmart

"All the latest styles, dear shopper." Walmart went all-in with a full range: clothing, tabletop, and accessories inspired by the Bridgerton aesthetic. But here's what surprised me: Walmart.com also features vintage pieces that feel authentically era-appropriate. Smart move with an appropriate brand expansion.

Three incredible collaborations that elevated both the brand and the series at the same time.

So here's the question: What could your brand have done with Bridgerton? Or another cultural moment that's happening right now?

What's your experience? JIM
